Fallen Angel

His tears fall like raindrops
Down to the city streets
But will anybody notice
Before history repeats

People say everything is different
But it all feels just the same
1000 feet beneath him
She’s the one to blame

He is a fallen angel

But he was truly grounded

He searched around for guidance
But all he got was hate
She never once truly loved him
And now she’s sealed his fate

Her friends all called him weird
And forever he was shunned
But then she went and left him
And the pain truly begun

He steps off from that ledge

And then two arms reach out to him
