Her Mirrors Smashed And The Carpets Stained So Why Doesn't She Clear It Up?

Cut me to ribbons and
Take a proper look around
You know I’m just another step
From having another break down

Take out the knife and
Bring it down once more
Can you not even see
What life has got in store?

The blood mixes with tears
And the heart stops its beat
The rain falls down in torrents
And splatters on the street.
The blood mixes with the rain
And the clouds look down and sigh
The body laid on the pavement
Had no real excuse to cry

Why did she go and end it?
Why didn’t she wait another day?
Why wouldn’t she listen to,
Everything people had to say?

Its late at night and
The clock strikes death
The chimes fill the streets
And she takes her last breath.

The world melts away and
She crumples on the stone
The rain mixes in her hair
And another life is gone.

The blood mixes with tears
And the heart stops its beat
The rain falls down in torrents
And splatters on the street.
The blood mixes with the rain
And the clouds look down and sigh
The body laid on the pavement
Had no real excuse to cry.

Why did she go and end it?
Why didn’t she wait another day?
Why wouldn’t she listen to,
Everything people had to say?

She only had one thing on her mind
And the one thing was him
The vision of perfect atmosphere
The vision of such intense sin

He smiled at her and welcomed her
But when it came to the kill
He dropped her and he broke her
And now she’s lost the will.

As her blood mixes with her tears
And her heart stops its beat
The rain falls down in torrents
And splatters on the street.
Her blood mixes with the rain
And her looks down and laughs
The body laid on the pavement
Was so modest and simply daft

He’s why she went and ended it?
He’s why this was her last day?
He’s why she wouldn’t listen to
Everything people had to say.
